Urban Wildlife welcomes the new and talented artist Messenga, releasing his first official two track single. We are very happy and excited for this release, as we at UW have been in contact with him for some time - releasing Messenga’s guest mix on label boss Eightballs’s mix a few years ago. Messenga is known for his years of DJing, promotional work and events in Plymouth and throughout the Southwest of the UK. A seasoned and experienced member of the UK scene who is taking the next step in his career.

Both tracks of UWS007 are different and show the vision of the producer. ‘Keep From Trouble’ is a fantastic Liquid tune - a warm track and with a touch of soul. Nice trumpets and organs run smoothly throughout the tune, giving the sun a perfect welcome in 2019. For ‘Revolution’, Messenga teamed up with the renowned grime producer, Restraint, to produce a more powerful and uplifting record. This one goes direct to the dancefloor. Dark and heavy synths cut through the fluffy but straight beats and breaks, carried by a nice and funky carpet of percussion, switching into congo flavours.
